The artisan bakery Forge Bakehouse on Abbeydale Road opened in November. It is run by Martha and Ben who learnt their trade at the Artisan School of Food in Nottinghamshire.
Everything sold in the bakery is made and baked on site and the choice and quality is impressive. The breads vary from ciabatta, sourdough, rye and brioche. Then the selection of tempting sweet treats include croissants, tarts and brownies.
