Sheffield food charities – giving something back

This month’s Now Then magazine feature is all about giving back and there’s a lot happening in Sheffield from charities, food banks to community projects.

Much of the joy from food comes from the sharing, whether that is cooking for others or by making a difference in your community by giving a little back. There are many food projects in our city focused on encouraging a sense of community from the Food Hall on Eyre Street, Foodcycle and the Real Junk Food Project.

There are other projects and places we didn’t have space to mention, some may be on your doorstep. If you’d like to pay a bit extra forward, then why not get involved and give something back.
