Review – Smoke BBQ, Sheffield

I was invited along to the formal opening of ‘Smoke BBQ’, a new restaurant located in St Paul’s Square (under the cheese grater car park) in Sheffield’s city centre.

Business partners Duka Nagy and Sean Gregory are the couple behind this new barbeque restaurant and they are ambitious, with plans to open 15 more branches in the North by 2020.

BBQ Home-smoked Salmon

As a member of the Sainsbury’s Blogger community I received one of their smoker boxes to try out at the end of the BBQ summer season. This small stainless steel box is simple in its construction; it has holes on the lid and in the bottom of the box and space inside for wood. You put wood chips of your choice inside and once ignited the smoke flows out of the holes to flavour fish, meat or vegetables. It can be used on a grill oven or BBQ.
